DEGRADEDPostmark incident: inbound message data loss

Between 11:27AM - 11:49AM EST on May 2nd some inbound messages were improperly routed in our internal network. This ultimately resulted in loss of these messages, and there is unfortunately no way to recover them.

If inbound messages were sent to you during this time they were not processed successfully, and we don’t have a record of them. If your account was affected by this incident, we reached out to you directly in an email.

We are truly sorry about this mistake. You rely on us to process your inbound messages reliably, and it’s a responsibility we take seriously. We are taking several steps to ensure this type of data loss doesn’t happen again, including changes to our load balancing setup and improvements to our automated checks on configuration files.
