BT Internet let us know that they have taken steps to resolve these delivery issues. We haven't seen any new bounces recently, so everything seems to be back to normal.

In recent days we’ve started seeing an increase in spam notification bounces from emails sent to BT Internet addresses. Please note that this is not a problem with your emails. Several email service providers are currently seeing issues with email delivery to BT Internet addresses. We are working with BT Internet to resolve these delivery issues, but as we continue to investigate we’re seeing fewer bounces from domains that have a custom Return-Path set up. If you're affected by this issue please add a custom Return-Path for sending domains to your DNS settings, if you haven’t done so already. This should help with the delivery of these emails while we work with BT on a permanent resolution. To add a custom Return-Path, go to your Sender Signatures page in Postmark, click on the “DNS Settings” link, and follow the instructions.

We are currently seeing higher than usual bounce rates to some email addresses on btinternet. We are working with them to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
